Join us for Worship
Calvary United Methodist Church is a family friendly church in East Uniontown.
Worship is at 10AM. We welcome you to come as you are, and worship as you wish. The sanctuary is handicapped accessible, and we have devices for those who require hearing assistance.
We LOVE Kids!
Children are a vital part of worship, and of our church life, and we love them! We have a special kids time during the service then children are excused to attend an age-appropriate class. Nursery is also available.
All teachers are Christian leaders in the church and community. All have attended Safe Sanctuaries training and have appropriate clearances.
We also have many special events throughout the year for children: Back to School Bash, Fall Festival, Christmas party and program, Easter Egg hunt, Easter program, Vacation Bible School and more.
For youth, we have a youth group for grades 6-12 that includes volunteer work, activites, fundraisers, and spritual formation groups.
Calvary Choir rehearses from September through May. In addition to special music on Sunday, they participate in community cantatas. They are under the direction of Dr. David Boyd. COVID-19 update: At this time the choir will not be participating in worship until further notice.
Calvary Youth participate in many missions and learning projects, including the 30 Hour Famine, SPARK retreat, and more. They have fundraisers, activities, and participate in confirmaton classes and spiritual growth. Open to youth grades 6-12. Andy and Genna Naymick, and Joy Anderson are the youth directors.
Calvary has a very active mission presence in the community. We host a monthly food pantry, support Scotts Run Settlement, Wesley Health Center, Jumonville Summer Camp, and much more.
